Banks is well known in the entertainment industry as a model, actress, author, host, judge and overall businesswoman. Even though she began modeling as a teen, she thinks an education is extremely important.

Her reasoning for partaking in the Harvard Business School program was to launch her beauty line, TYRA beauty.

On Twitter Sunday, the mogul shared some wisdom for aspiring models.

She begged all aspiring models to not drop out of high school. She also revealed she has witnessed some friends drop out to model and have watched them fail.

"Fashion will wait until you have diploma in hand," she urged.

Her wise words sparked an array of reactions from her fans that follow her on Twitter. One fan said Banks gave "Great advice."

Other fans didn't see her words in a positive light though.

One fan revealed a person's age doesn't wait like fashion does.

Another fan argued against Banks' words saying that the industry doesn't want beyond the age of 25 so school could wait.

Then another fan of Banks enthusiastically supported what the America's Next Top Model star had to say by tweeting, "PREACHHHHHHHHHH".
