ABC's Once Upon a Time is teasing an intriguing new announcement set to go down on Friday, with an image of a hook.

'Once Upon a Time' Star Ginnifer Goodwin Reveals Her Favorite Princess, Why It's Not Snow White

The Once Upon a Time Twitter account posted a photo of what appears to be Captain Hook's (Colin O'Donoghue) hook along with the Marvel logo.

"Something magical is coming on Friday," the account tweeted alongside the photo. "Tease 1 of 4... #OnceUponATime".

Jamie Dornan Talks Possibility Of Returning to 'Once Upon a Time'

The photo has Once Upon a Time buzzing like crazy with some throwing out the possibility that there may be a Marvel movie with the show's characters and more. Marvel and ABC are both owned by Disney so there is potential for synergy either on TV, at the movies or even through comic books.

If it is a comic book, it would not be the first time for the Once Upon a Time series. They released a comic book series called Once Upon A Time: Shadow Of The Queen in 2013, which obviously focused on the Evil Queen from the Snow White universe.

Assuming it is indeed a comic book, it bodes well for Captain Hook, who is a very popular Disney villain/Once Upon a Time character. It is also possible that Hook is one of four villains, considering the tweet says that it is "tease 1 of 4." Could we expect new symbols from other villains to come? Only time will tell.

Once Upon a Time returns on Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
