The preview for the upcoming episode of season 10 of Criminal Minds, which has been directed by Joe Mantegna, who plays David Rossi in the CBS procedural, was recently revealed.

The episode, titled Anonymous, focusses on a killer who targets anonymous organ donors, and ensures that help is on the way once he murders them -- so that the organs can still be vital for use. This seems like it will be an interesting one to crack.

In November last year, it was revealed that Mantegna would be directing episode 12 of season 10.

On November 6, CM_SetReport, the behind-the-scenes twitter account for the show, stated that Mantegna was helming episode 12:

"I spy... At the EP10x12 #criminalminds readthru. EP written by Bruce Z. & @danramm & directed by @joemantegna," the tweet read.

Mantegna had already revealed that he would be directing an episode in season 10 in July, this year. Speaking to Zap2It, the actor revealed that as he will be directing an episode in the next season mid-November and it would air sometime after the holidays this year.

"They asked me if I would do another one, and I agreed, so I'll do that around mid-November, and it will probably air sometime after the holidays," he said. "I have some ideas that I'm going to throw around with them."

While he didn't give away too much he did allude to hoping for a generous budget again, like he did with the first episode he directed in season 9, which involved an expensive sequence featuring a "big crane."

"They gave me a little extra budget on the last one because it was leading into the 200th episode," he said. "I was like, "If I can get a big crane" -- which is a pretty expensive commodity -- "we can do a cool kind of shot at the end." And we were able to do that, which I was happy about."

The episode will air on January 21 on CBS.
