The public has not seen Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex Luthor just yet, and those behind the scenes would like to keep it that way. The actor recently spoke with Variety about a multitude of topics, including his highly anticipated role as the iconic Superman villain.

When asked if his head is still shaved after wrapping Batman v Superman, the actor admitted that he could not say anything.

"I can't say anything about this stuff. They want all this to be a surprise," he replied.

However, he did admit that he would like to return in the future as Lex Luthor, with the DC Cinematic Universe expanding.

"I would love to [return]," he said. "It's a great group and director, and the most ideal character to play."

Asked if he was a big Superman fan growing up he admitted he wasn't, but he apparently watched the films from the '80s in order to prepare for his performance as Lex.

Everything has been very secretive for Batman v Superman, creating an air of mystery that is actually quite rare for a big blockbuster such as this. With anticipation continuing to build up, a teaser trailer is rumored to be released in February, though fans may not even see Eisenberg's Lex in the trailer.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on March 25, 2016.
