'The Fosters' Christmas Episode Chatter

On Monday, Latina posted an interview with Cierra Ramirez who plays Mariana on the ABC Family drama. Her character's birth mother Ana is pregnant, but Jesus happened to be the first person to find out. So what does this mean for his relationship with Mariana after holding onto this secret?

"We all know how long Jesus can keep a secret from Mariana...not for that long," Ramirez teased. "The experience of creating a relationship with Ana has been a mistake to Mariana. She almost lost her mother because of it, and she wanted to cut off all ties with Ana. She wanted nothing to do with her."

Is Lexi Ever Going To Return To 'The Fosters?'

This is bound to change when Mariana discovers the truth, leaving curiosity on how she's going to handle the idea of a new sibling. As for Jesus, odds are more than likely that he's going to be involved in the child's life.

"If anything he'll become more attached," Ramirez said. "You've seen him kind of become more attached with Ana. When the show started, he was completely against her and the idea of Mariana even reaching out to her. Though now for him to be the one reaching out to her and not Mariana- I don't know you'll have to see how that progresses."

The Fosters airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
