The Fosters is about to return for some new episodes with the possibility of a former character coming along as well.

Are Jesus & Hayley Going To Have A Conversation Worth 'Freaking Out' Over On 'The Fosters?'

Last Tuesday, Shine On Media posted an interview with Bianca A. Santos who played Lexi on the series. When she was asked if she would ever come back for future episodes, she didn't seem super confident that it would happen, but that doesn't mean it'll never happen.

"I think if I could come back, I definitely a hundred percent would," the actress shared. "Jesus needs to get back with the original girlfriend, I mean, come on."

Will There Be A Third Season Of 'The Fosters?'

If Lexi ever does make an appearance at some point, it might be a big deal for Santos since she's on the latest MTV series Happyland. So she'll probably be using most of her time for that show before options are open on returning to a former show.

In an interview with Perez Hilton, Jake T. Austin (Jesus) dished on his character's love life and how they have all helped him become who he is now. He also happened to bring up his former on-screen girlfriend.

"Jesus- my character on The Fosters- has had love interests kind of play his maturity and part of him growing up and discovering who he is as a man, and just trying to find that place," he said. "But it's been great to be able to work with so many talented actresses on The Fosters like Bianca Santos and some of the other actresses who I think will blossom into huge careers."

The Fosters is expected to return this December on ABC Family.
