Should Tim McGraw's Wife Be Jealous Of His New Duet Partner?

A new single off the Sundown Heaven Town album, Diamond Rings and Old Barstools is sung by McGraw and his cousin, Catherine Dunn. Apparently the song has been building up quite a bit of momentum. According to The Boot on Wednesday, the new single is officially the most-added song to country radio broadcasts.

What's made it so successful? McGraw thinks it has something to do with the blending of the old and new.

Tim McGraw's Summer Tour Pulling Him Away From Family?

"It's a classic, great country song," he explained. "When you come across those kind of songs…these songs kinds of allow you to dig in, and they have a little bit of country nostalgia, but also a modern edge.

"When I run across a song like that," the singer added, "I can't wait to get into the studio and record it."

So when will fans get to hear the song live? McGraw's 2015 Shotgun Rider Summer Tour is set to begin in March. The official schedule includes just stops in Texas and California during the spring. Things are set to pick up though in June as the singer hits New York, Colorado, Wisconsin and Iowa.

The country star has been having a pretty solid year, with CMA Award and Grammy nominations for the hit single Meanwhile Back At Mama's (featured below).

For 10 years McGraw has remained married to fellow country artist and frequent duet partner Faith Hill. Together they have three daughters.
