The Doctor's daughter is an abandoned storyline, but there is one former Time Lord who wants to see it resurrected.

'Doctor Who' Season 9 Spoilers: Will Ten Return? David Tennant Talks Future Appearances

Doctor Who introduced a cloned offspring of the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) in season 4, and Peter Davison wouldn't mind if the BBC created a spin-off series for Jenny (Georgia Moffett).

Forced to stick his hand in a progenation machine during "The Doctor's Daughter," Ten inadvertently spawned a young woman. Unwilling to accept her as his daughter or a proper Time Lord, Ten refers to her as a generated anomaly, believing Jenny will never inherit the qualities of a Gallifrian child.

As the episode came to an end, it appeared Ten was right. Jenny was shot and appeared to die in her father's arms. However, viewers know that she later woke up, fully alive and ready to explore the universe.

Now, Davison has voiced his desire to see a spin-off staring Moffet, his real-life daughter, according to ABC.

Do you think Jenny could ever return, or is she just a forgotten remnant of the Russell T. Davies era? Sound off in the comments below.
