Although Beyonce and Kim Kardashian are reportedly feuding, a new source claims that's "absurd."

It's been said that the two starlets barely acknowledged each other backstage during Jay-Z's concert at Budweiser Made In America festival in Philadelphia due to a confrontation that resulted from Kim attempting to hog the spotlight of a documentary film crew.

Director Ron Howard is making a film about Jay-Z, so he's been following the rapper and hip-hop mogul.

But according to an Us Weekly source, "That report is absurd" claimed the source close to Beyonce. The "I Was Here" singer reportedly "loves Kim," and "there's absolutely no beef."

According to the Us Weekly insider, Kim and Beyonce did embrace each other.

"When Beyonce saw Kim at the concert, she ran over and gave her the biggest hug," the source explained, adding that the pop sensation eventually joined Kim in the dressing room after watching her husband of four years perform.

Kim and Beyonce have become friends through their relationships with Jay-Z and West (West has called Jay-Z his "Big Brother" and even has a track titled that in his honor).

The two have been spotted together at numerous "Watch the Throne" concerts featuring Jay-Z and West.

According to previous reports, Kim attempted to audition for Howard.

Allegedly Beyoncé found Kim's spotlight-stealing behavior to be unacceptable.  She politely reminded Kim that the documentary was not about her.

"Beyonce wasn't amused that Kim was using her husband's documentary to audition for Ron," a source told RadarOnline. "So, she took Kim to one side and told her that the day wasn't about her, it was about Jay-Z, his work in organizing the event and there were other celebrities and musicians there that needed coverage too."

However, Kim was reportedly so offended that she called her mom Kris Jenner crying, saying she was unfairly treated by the singer.
