Are Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Planning To Adopt Another Child?

On Wednesday, TheWrap reported that an individual familiar with the Skydance project has said that Pitt is in negotiations to play Richard Leakey in Jolie's new drama Africa.

Though neither Skydance nor Pitt's representative have commented on the rumor, it would be plausible as the two have teamed up together for work before.

The couple directed By The Sea together and first worked together on Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Africa is reportedly a biographical movie about Leakey, the famous archaeologist who was a defender of elephants against poachers in Kenya in the late 80s.

It's rumored that production for the movie could begin as soon as this summer.

"I've felt a deep connection to Africa and its culture for much of my life, and was taken with Eric's beautiful script about a man drawn into the violent conflict with elephant poachers who emerged with a deeper understanding of man's footprint and a profound sense of responsibility for the world around him," Jolie said.

Skydance has a deal with Paramount but the studio is reportedly not currently involved with the project right now.

Pitt won an Oscar for producing 12 Years A Slave and previously worked with Skydance. He is represented by CAA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and his attorney, Alan Hergott.
