'The Mentalist' Season 7 Spoilers: Could There Be A Kimball Cho Spin-off? Tim Kang Deals With Dwindling Team In Sneak Peek [VIDEO]
The Mentalist's Agent Kimball Cho is preparing to take over Agent Abbot's FBI team, or at least what's left of it.
It appears Cho's (Tim Kang) coworkers will slowly start to dwindle as season 7 comes to a close (see sneak peek below).
Abbot (Rockmond Dunbar) is already packing for DC, and the team will suffer a fatal blow during "Nothing Gold Can Stay." Although it is unconfirmed, all signs indicate that Agent Vega's (Josie Loren) will soon be six-feet under, and her untimely death may prompt Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) to reconsider his position with the bureau.
"I can't do this anymore," Jane tells Lisbon (Robin Tunney) in a new promo. "That could have been you in that coffin."
If Vega bites the dust and Jane (and possibly Lisbon) leave, Cho will only be left with Wylie. Despite this, fans are clamoring for a Cho spin-off once The Mentalist goes off the air.
"You never know," Kang told an inquisitive fan when asked about a possible continuation of his character.
