It turns out the upcoming release of the film Fifty Shades of Grey is proving to be great business for one of Kate Middleton's friends.

Palace Slams Report That Prince William & Kate Middleton Are Having A Baby Girl 

Emma Sayles, who runs a members-only sex club called Killing Kittens, attributes her recent increase in business to the highly anticipated movie.

"We almost doubled our turnover in October when we launched [the bondage spin-off] Torture Kittens," noted Sayles in The Mirror on Feb. 7. "And it's all because of the Fifty Shades of Grey effect."

Why Prince Charles Might Have A Problem With Kate Middleton's Family 

Fifty Shades of Grey is one of the year's most highly-anticipated films. Based on the popular novel by E.L. James, the movie is set to star Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as student and business man who embark on an erotic relationship which takes a surprising turn.

Sayles is surprised at the recent success her business has had, though pleased with the expansion. Around 200 people have been known to show up for her parties. The club averages around 50,000 members total.

The daughter of a diplomat, Sayles began her business in 2005 as a "safe" environment for people to explore sexual fantasies.

So how does Sayles know Princess Kate? Where did the two meet? The pair became acquainted through a charity rowing team in 2006.

Charity work isn't the only thing have in common either. Sayles gave birth to her son, Rafferty, in October and has been redistributing some of her responsibilities with the business in order to spend more time with her son. Kate, already mother to one-year-old Prince George, will give birth to her second child in April.

At this time, the royal family does not know whether Prince William and Princess Kate are expecting a boy or a girl.
