Prince William and Kate Middleton might experience some clashing between their families this year.

Kate Middleton's Brother 'Frustrated' With Sister & Royal Association

Both the royal family and the Middletons are eagerly looking forward to the birth of Kate's second child. According to the Daily Mail on Monday, however, William's father is concerned about the Middleton influence on his son and grandchildren.

Prince Charles is aware that William spends a great deal of time with Kate and her parents, vacationing together and visiting on holidays. Their son, one-year-old George, has also become rather familiar with his maternal grandparents. When it comes to visiting Charles, the Daily Mail reported that William and Kate seem to be less generous with their time.

Why Kate Middleton Might Be Expecting A Girl This Time Around

Prince Charles is allegedly concerned about the Middletons adopting William and his children as their own, rather than the other way around. Charles has much respect for the history of the royal family and doesn't want William to loose the traditions of the monarchy. He fears this could happen as William spends time with Kate's family, which has adopted a more informal lifestyle.

"William has always been a bit difficult with his father," alleged one of Charles' former employees. "There are aspects of the way he runs his life that William doesn't like."

Perhaps the welcoming of William and Kate's second child will ease some of that family tension this spring.

Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
