Following Milano's departure from the series, the actress was nothing but supportive when she found out that Esposito would be filling her spot as the new 'mistress' of the series.

".@JennifersWayJE You are going to love those ladies! They are a special group. And super talented. Blessings and love," Milano tweeted on Tuesday.

It was announced from The Hollywood Reporter that Esposito will be the new face on the show now that Milano won't be a part of it anymore. The new actress will play Calista, a woman with a colorful personality who works in fashion. She's also going to be a mentor to Joss as she brings her into a world filled with danger and scandal.

Milano announced last fall that she would not return to the series due to relocation.

"After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons," she stated. "It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under four. Being a mother and wife comes first and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away. I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best."

Mistresses Season 3 is expected to premiere this summer on ABC.
