'Fifty Shades' Receives Negative Reviews On Twitter

It's no secret that Fifty Shades has become a global phenomenon, but some people think that the film adaptation of E. L. James' erotic novel has capitalized off of promoting rape and sexual abuse.

Jones, an Olympic gold medal recipient, took to Twitter to bash the new film, and she's telling her followers that God would definitely not approve.

"Funny how some people think there's nothing wrong with 50 Shades of Grey. God didn't create sexy for that purpose," the Olympian said. "Watch another movie."

Jones continued her Twitter rant by saying that people hide their real issues by becoming more physical as a way to mask their real problems.

Last week The Hollywood Reporter announced that the new film, staring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, bought in a gross of $90.7 million domestically, and $158 million from 58 international markets.
