The first official pics are in promoting the final season of AMC's long reigning Mad Men.

Released by TVLine on Wednesday, these laid back images show the cast lounging during a sort of lawn party.

One of the more striking images includes a troubled looking Don Draper (Jon Hamm) standing inside the dark house with a group of out-of-focus onlookers staring from outside on the lawn. The photo pairs well with Don's troubled past and fears about the future, particularly when it comes to ending up completely alone. Is it an ominous foreshadowing? Or simply a representation of his mindset?

Why Life Might Be Worse Than Death For Don Draper On 'Mad Men' 

Most of the pictures were much lighter in subject matter. One showed a smiling Joan Harris (Christina Hendricks) in a pink floral dress standing beside Peggy Olson (Elisabeth Moss), who looked vibrant in a dress with a single, long strand of pearls.

Another image caught a tender moment between Don and Peggy as they sat looking at one another in a pair of chairs out on the lawn. Under the fading sunlight, the two shared a drink and seemed quite at ease with each other's company.

Though the photos don't reveal much about the upcoming episodes, they do speak to the nature of the characters and put a spotlight on some of the fashions fans can expect on the series this spring.

Mad Men will return on AMC for the remainder of its seventh and final season on Sunday, April 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
