Rumor currently has it that a well-known Star Wars character might get a little flashback appearance in Episode VII.

On Tuesday, Making Star Wars mentioned that a young version of Luke Skywalker could appear in the film. And if this is true, then he could be played by an actor named Robert Boulter, who's credited in other films: Donkey Punch, Daylight Robbery and Mercenaries.

The site made it clear that this is only a rumor at this point and nothing is for certain just yet. With that being said though, fans may want to consider the idea of a younger version of Luke Skywalker showing up somewhere in the anticipated flick.

J.J. Abrams Discusses Something He 'Can't Wait' For Everyone To See In 'Episode VII'

In a previous interview with BBC, director J.J. Abrams admitted that some reports going around are actually true. But the question is, which one(s) is he referring to?

"There are tons of rumors- some true, some false," the director said. "But I'm grateful for everyone who would want to read a spoiler because it means that they care and want to see the movie."

Abrams then dished on how much fun he had while working on this movie, sending more excitement to the fans.

"I can't wait for you to see it," he said. "It's been a blast working on this and luckily we have an incredible post-production team. There are always challenges as you go but it's been a complete kick to put this together."

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18.
