On Tuesday, Hello Magazine reported that the Duchess of Cambridge has picked one of her final royal engagements before she is off to bring a Royal bundle of joy into the world.

The princess is set to attend the St. Patrick's Day Parade at Mons Barracks on March 17th and she will be accompanied by her husband, Prince William.

Is Kate Middleton Keeping Prince George From Seeing Prince Charles?

Middleton will be handing out shamrocks to guardsmen as she has done in the past. This is a tradition started in 1902 by Queen Alexandra, the wife of Edward VII.

The expectant mother will most likely also stop to pet Domhnall, the Irish Guards' official mascot, the site repotred. Apparently the hound has the rank of Guardsman and can be promoted for good conduct.

As has been done in the past, the guardsmen in the battlion will toast to the royal couple and them them for coming.

According to the site, last year the princess wore a gold shamrock brooch that was Queen Alexandra's.

Though she seems to be keeping pretty busy for someone who is in her final weeks of pregnancy, there has been some speculation that Middleton hasn't had enough royal duties.

Daily Mail reported that the Duchess of Cambridge has carried out only 76 total public engagements in the last year. That may sound like a lot, but compared to 93-year-old Prince Phillip who went to 200 events, it definitely sounds miniscule.

The Queen herself, who is 88-years-old, attended the most with 375. Middleton's total is barely a fifth of the number attended by the Queen who would sometimes attend six or more each day. Out of the 15 royals, Middleton performed the fewest public duties.
