'Outlander' Star Teases 'Dark' New Episodes Ahead

It looks like model Tyson Beckford has accepted a celebrity hosting gig for the Chippendales in Las Vegas this spring.

"I am really excited to join the Chippendales show in Las Vegas," 44-year-old Beckford told People on Wednesday. "These guys provide a flirty and sexy yet playful experience…and being a part of that party each night just seems like fun."

Beckford has long been considered one of the most noteworthy models in the industry, with a career spanning over 20 years. He was first featured as one of People's 50 Most Beautiful People in 1995. In 2013, People included him as part of their Sexiest Men Alive lineup.

The model's career began by accident in New York in 1993 when scouts from a hip-hop magazine asked if they could photograph him. Since then, he has gone on to model for big names like Ralph Lauren and make appearances on The CW's America's Next Top Model.

The Chippendales are famous as Las Vegas' male revue, though the performers got a little extra publicity back in 2012 when Jaymes Vaughn and James Davis became fan favorites on the CBS competion series The Amazing Race, just about making it all the way to the end of the show.

Beckford plans to stay with the Chippendales at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino from April 30 to May 24.
