Another day, another Kardashian family controversy. This time around Kylie Jenner is taking some heat from PETA for apparently painting her dog's toenails and posting the photos on her Instagram account.

Jenner posted a photo of her pup Bambi with the caption, "came home to these babes sleeping in my bed." Almost immediately, her fans noticed that she had painted the pup's paws and commented with, "I just noticed the pink nails OMG," along with, "Did she really have to paint the puppy's nails pink? Is that necessary?"

According to Gossip Cop on Friday, PETA is none too happy that the 17-year-old is using her new pup as a fashion accessory. PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange told the site, "All animals are naturally beautiful - without any extra flair."

She added, "Because Kylie loves Bambi, we implore her to think long and hard about continuing to wear fur, especially considering that most fur comes from China, where dogs as dear as Bambi are bludgeoned to death for theirs."

Lange continued, "For Bambi's cousins' sake, PETA hopes she will watch our exposé about the Chinese fur industry (see below) and learn to treat all animals with the same compassion as the one she cuddles with in bed."

While this isn't the first time that the Kardashian family has been criticized for the way they treat their pets or for wearing fur, Kylie herself has not responded to the criticism.
