On Monday, people around the nation united for the best holiday of the year, National Puppy Day.

And as if that holiday isn't interesting enough on its own, Bieber added to the excitement as he unveiled his new terrier.

The new puppy, Esther, was first presented on Instagram in a photo where she is being held in Bieber's tattooed arm. She is extremely tiny in the photo.

This debut pic was captioned: "Say hello to the newest addition of the bieber family #esther."

This photo got over 1 million likes on the social media networking site and countless comments.

Bieber posted another pic today of the tiny pup who stared straight at the camera as she layed in Bieber's tatted up arms again.

This photo was captioned: "Today is randomly national puppy day."

The image was posted less than an hour ago and has already received more that 370,000 likes.

While Bieber's intentions seem harmless, TMZ reported that he doesn't have the best track record when it comes to pets.

He apparently has had some interesting pets in the past, two of which didn't survive his relationship with them.

The first was a hamster named Pac who lived only one year after the star gave away his beloved pet to a random screaming fan.

The other pet Bieber had that didn't survive was a monkey that was apparently confiscated in Germany when he didn't have the proper paperwork.
