Despite all of the drama the two ladies have had in the past, Melissa Gorga reveals if she still contacts her sister-in-law and The Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Teresa Giudice while she's in jail.

Melissa Gorga Says Teresa Giudice's Jail Sentence 'Heavy On [Joe Giudice's] Heart'

Giudice is serving a 15-month sentence after she and her husband, Joe Giudice, pleaded guilty to fraud charges such as bankruptcy and loan back in 2014. Even though Gorga and Teresa have never really gotten along on the popular Bravo series, it's safe to say that the dynamics of their relationship did change when Teresa and Joe's legal trouble surfaced. Gorga is married to Teresa's brother, Joe Gorga.

Now Melissa has revealed that she hasn't visited Teresa in jail yet.

Nick Lachey of VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live caught up with Melissa, who said, "I haven't been there. I think she's saving visits for her kids and her husband. I know my mother-in-law has been there, but I haven't."

Still, she definitely makes an effort to stay in touch.

"I've written to her. She can email so she emails with her brother. He's talked to her on the phone."

"I think she's doing really well for her circumstances. I think for anybody the hardest part is not being with her children. It's like 'You can put me anywhere and I'll deal with it.' But not seeing my children every day, that's the punishment."

Still, Melissa remains positive for Teresa.

"It'll go by so fast, we're already in the spring."
