It's been six days since married country singer Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr, a hot former NBA cheerleader and American Idol contestant were photographed kissing and with their hands on each other at a night club, but the scandal remains the talk of the Internet, at least among his fans.

"I feel so bad for your wife. she has supported you through out the years and it took only a few min to throw everything you had away," one of Aldean's female fans wrote on his Facebook Saturday.

" I love Jason Aldean's music as much or more than anyone. But I have to admit I was very disappointed in this news. I don't judge nor is his music less appealing to me, BUT it doesn't make what he did right!," Facebook user Hollie Johnson said.

"What about the embarassment caused to the woman and her family! You said nothing about them! only yourself!!!!" a male fan weighed in.

Aldean last talked about the affair on Monday when he issued a public statement apologizing to his fans but not his family, something that other people also crirticized.

"The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar," Aldean said. "I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for disappointing you guys."

"Hope you learned from it...and you should be more concerned about your wife than your fans," a Facebook user wrote.

Kerr also admitted to the affair but it's been since Tuesday that the public hasn't heard of her after she issued an apology and deleted her Twitter account.

"The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part. I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends & family," she said in the statement.

Despite the backlash, most of Aldean's fans support the singer and are encouraging him to make things well with his wife.

"No one is perfect but remember it takes a bigger and better man to admit fault and apologize so good job Jason! Good Luck and God Bless!"

The pair met at The Den in California last Sunday and were seen holding one another and whispering into each others ears looking too close for a married father of two. Aldean is married to his high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery, who no doubt will be furious with her husband.

Kerr made headlines earlier this year when she auditioned for American Idol and the cameras kept recording her rear for most of the singing. The Internet exploded with searches for her name after that. She has a bunch of male fans that call her a "super duper hot chick."
