Finding Carter Season 2 opened up with some of the craziest twists that one would never expect, and it's not going to stop there.

Is 'Finding Carter' Season 2 Going To Be A Lot Like Season 1?

Things are about to get so much more insane, and it doesn't just have to do with Carter's kidnapping. The series is about to take on a range of other heart-wrenching storylines based on the latest promo.

First of all, it appears that the main character won't be able to let Lori go even though she's in jail. Her (SPOILER) kidnapper and biological mother will likely continue to tell her daughter stories about Elizabeth who will not be able to tolerate this.

Meanwhile, Crash returns, leaving Carter speechless- but not Elizabeth. She tells him that he is not welcome in her house or near her family. But Carter's heart might push those words away.

There is also the matter of Max and Taylor's relationship; things aren't going so smoothly for them, but maybe that's okay. Taylor might actually find some comfort in someone else.

Elizabeth also makes the announcement that she and David are separating. More secrets and lies go around to the point where no one in the family can trust each other.

Max will also be set up by Crash in a rough ordeal that could leave the bad boy in trouble again.

The promo ends with Lori hearing something she's wanted to hear for a while- her daughter calling her "mom."

Finding Carter airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
