The 100's attack on Mount Weather left one survivor, a character that could potentially return in season 3.

Emerson (Toby Levins) had already received the bone marrow treatment prior to the series two-part sophomore finale, and it appears Cage's henchman is still roaming the post-apocalyptic world (the same can't be said for his despicable cohort).

"The only survivor of Mount Weather is Emerson. He's out there, Lt. Emerson, probably to play a role," series creator Jason Rothenberg informed Buddy TV. "[However] the Mount Weather story has been told."

Emerson almost met his demise during "Blood Must Have blood: Part 2," but he received a stay of execution when the original story for episode 16 proved too much to handle.

"One of the things - there was supposed to be an action scene in the hallway outside where Bellamy kills Emerson. But we had to lose it and ultimately I found it to be kind of interesting to leave him out there, dangling," Rothenberg told IGN, explaining that he originally meant to let any of the Undergrounders see another day.
