While details about the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel have been up in the air, rumors online suggest that runway model Cara Delevingne could be joining the cast for the film franchise's second installment.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' New 'Darker' Sequel Will Reportedly Begin Production Soon

After numerous reports claimed that production was delayed for the highly anticipated film sequel Fifty Shades Darker, it looks like Universal execs and author E. L. James have finally reached an agreement and things are finally underway.

New reports have recently taken over the Internet and according to the Venture Capital Post, Universal execs have finally reached a deal with James and production is expected to begin shortly.

The site also announced that casting for the new film was almost finalized and new sources claim that James would love for the model to partner with the franchise for the new sequel.

On Thursday Capital FM reported that Delevingne could be playing a sexy role tied to Jamie Dornan's character billionaire businessman Christian Grey.

"Cara is wowing in her performance in 'Pan' with Hugh Jackman, and E.L. James loves the idea of her as a name being in the next movie," a source told the Daily Star this week.

It's unsure how true the rumors are, but clearly the model knows more than just how to cat walk.

Last year Delevingne starred in the thriller The Face of An Angel and she also has a role in a new project entitled Suicide Squad.

Neither universal execs nor James have yet to confirm the rumors, so be sure to check in for more updates.
