It's a good thing these two are such good friends, otherwise this would have turned out much differently. Sofia Vergara admitted that she accidentally sent her Hot Pursuit co-star Reese Witherspoon to the hospital during a fight sequence because she apparently popped her ovary.

According to People Magazine on Tuesday, the two ladies told their story to Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show.

Vergara said, "She went to the emergency room. I sent her to the emergency room."

Witherspoon said that the faux fight somehow caused internal bleeding and she was worried that her appendix might have burst.

Vergara added, "I push her and I push her, and I kept telling her, 'I think I'm pushing you too hard,' and she was like, 'No do it real.'"

According to Contact Music on Monday, Witherspoon opened up in a new interview (via InStyle Magazine) about their friendship and how they have plenty of things in common, even though they are two totally different women.

The blonde beauty said, "As soon as I met Sofia, I said, 'I want to make a movie with you'. I think she's the next Lucille Ball."

Witherspoon added, "She and I together are such a funny thing because we represent two completely different cultures and kinds of women, but we just love each other. We laughed so much."
