Fashion and Style pointed out that execs are looking for an actress to play the role of Elena, Mr. Grey's longtime friend and business partner.

In E.L. James' erotic trilogy, Elena Lincoln, or Mrs. Robinson to Ana, is friend of Christian's mother and the two began an affair when he was just 15 years old and she was the one who introduced Christian to the world of BDSM.

According to the site, notable actresses like Catherine Zeta Jones, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Halle Berry, Denise Richards and Charlize Theron could all be potential candidates.

While movie execs have yet to confirm if the ladies were in the running for the new role, those are just a few ideas.
