Norma Changes Direction In Previous Episode Of 'Bates Motel'

On Monday, the actor, who plays Sheriff Romero on the series, participated in a live chat on Facebook with viewers who asked a number of questions about the series. One interesting question was if Romero and Norma will ever end up together.

"I really am drawn to Norma, but I'm not sure that she's good for me," Carbonell responded.

Actor Dishes On Norma & Norman's 'Husband/Wife Relationship'

Another fan asked if there is any word on Bates Motel being renewed for a fourth season. It's too soon to tell, but everyone seems to be thinking positive right now.

"We're hopeful, fingers crossed!" the actor said.

Carbonell also mentioned if his character will cover up any more murders that Norman commits. The actor gave a skeptical response since he didn't say yes, but he didn't really say no either. But based on his choice of phrasing, he seemed to imply that Romero may actually try to keep Norman's crimes a secret.

The actor wrote, "For whatever reason the Sheriff feels very protective of Norman."

One fan wanted to let Carbonell and everyone else involved with the show know that they are doing a wonderful job, something the actor was happy to hear.

"That's so kind of you!" he wrote. "And we are blessed to get to do this show, the truth is, there simply is no show without the loyalty of fans like yourself."

Bates Motel airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on A&E.
