On Saturday, Vera Farmiga (Norma) took to her Twitter page to tell her followers that her character may end up in a different place in what ought to be an intense episode.

Chatter On Norman Bates & 'Meaty Mythology' On 'Bates Motel'

As of now, the series is on its third year and there is a possibility it could last for a couple more seasons. Executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin want to do the show justice and might consider letting the show end after Season 5. When they asked audience members how they would feel about this, a majority of people were apparently fine with this.

"It's gratifying to see people appreciate that decision," Cuse said, posted on Yahoo! TV. "This is not an open-ended narrative. We consider 'Bates Motel' to be a story with a beginning, middle, and end, and Kerry and I want to bring the story to an end in our own terms."

The producer also opened up on how proud he is of the show with the way everything has progressed.

"I think Kerry and I feel like we got the show to the place we wanted it this season," Cuse said. "I think you're always struggling with a show to fire on all cylinders, and it takes so much alchemy to get everything working as you want it."

Bates Motel airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on A&E.
