Golfing champion Jordan Spieth won the Masters this year- so what's his next plan from here?

Jordan Spieth Kisses Annie Verret On 'The Greatest Day' Of His Life

On Tuesday, USA Today mentioned that the 21-year-old is only going to take a little time off from the sport despite the fact that he could probably get a longer break if he wanted. But Spieth made it clear that he wants to go right back to work after his brief vacation.

"I'm going to kind of settle in at home and then get ready for match play and PLAYERS," he said. "This is getting in the thick of things, and two of the biggest events of the year coming up. I'll find a good line of getting enough rest and rebound."

Where Was Tiger Woods When Lindsey Vonn Won World Cup?

Even though her name wasn't mentioned, Spieth may end up using this time with his girlfriend, Annie Verret. She became almost as big a name as Spieth ever since she supported her man during his tournament. If these two do end up making the most of his time off, the golfer pointed out how important it'll be to get back to the game.

"It never even crossed my mind, after winning a major championship, you better believe that you're playing as good or better than anybody in the world," he said. "So why would that stop? I'm not going to sit there and stop practicing or stop working and party or anything. I know I have to get out and get back to work because we've got two big events and then the U.S. Open in a place that I'm familiar with."

Spieth then revealed that he has a lot to look forward to in his future.

"I'm excited for the opportunity this year. There's still a lot of goals to achieve this year."
