On Sunday, the Modern Family star took to her Instagram page to post a photo of herself with her boyfriend and some other friends as they have a splendid time in Las Vegas. The group sits at a table with big smiles on their faces as if they're caught in a hilarious and lovable moment.

Hyland and Sherwood sit at the center of the table where the actress holds her hand near Sherwood's chest and they appear to be in the middle of a hysterical inside joke.

"Couples retreat. #Vegas," Hyland wrote in the caption.

Sherwood just landed a new gig as the role of Jace in the upcoming series Shadowhunters. This is something that his girlfriend was super proud of and she couldn't be happier that the two became so close.

"He's amazing. He's an amazing person," the actress dished to E! News about her beau. "We became such good friends on Vampire Academy. I'm so happy for him. It's an amazing time."

Hyland also recently spoke with Seventeen on the pressures of feeling vulnerable and how important it is to keep pushing forward.

"When you're feeling vulnerable, it can lead to doubt and second-guessing," she said, posted on News.com. "It will steer you away from your goals and your happiness. Once you have a goal, keep moving forward- even if you're taking baby steps."
