Last week, an attorney for Lloyd's mother, Ursula Ward, made a statement claiming that they have filed criminal charges against Hernandez and plan to take him to court for a wrongful death suit.

According to Boston.com, Doug Sheff, the lawyer representing Lloyd's family, released a statement stating that they do plan on calling Hernandez to the stand unlike the first case and they are seeking any money owed to Hernandez by the Patriots as well as any other assets, including his million dollar North Attleboro home.

The Patriots were originally named in the suit however after they were dismissed after they made an agreement that any money released to Hernandez would be granted to the Lloyd family.

The site reports that, "the Patriots, who say they owe Hernandez nothing, are currently in a dispute with the NFL Players Association and the union is seeking over $6 million in guaranteed money."

While the former football star spent the last several years spending time in the Bristol County Jail, FOX News has reported that he has been transferred to a new facility.

According to a state prison official, "Hernandez was moved Wednesday to the maximum-security Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley."

As previously reported, Hernandez was allegedly involved in another double homicide that took place in 2012 and he is also being sued by a man named Alexander Bradley, who claims the former athlete shot him back in February of 2013.
