On Tuesday, The Vampire Diaries actor posted a group shot photo on Instagram. As he smirks for the camera, his girlfriend poses with him along with some other friends as they appear to have a good time out. The gang is at a table with wine glasses as they honor their pal named Eugene Kim.

Wesley captioned the shot, "Terrible photography, excellent people. Happy bday @egueskim"

This picture is kind of a big deal considering that Wesley and Tonkin don't upload too many photos that show both of them together. One of their most recent pictures from last month shows them on a hike where The Originals actress gives her beau a shoulder massage.

In an interview with Elle, Tonkin dished on what it's like to work on a TV show in Los Angeles; it turns out that it's pretty similar to working in an office.

"TV is a lot like having an office job: same crew, same people every day- it's like a family," she said. "I didn't move here to be on a job for three months and then sit around reading scripts and drinking coffee in LA the rest of the time."

The actress also gushed over Wesley and how happy she is to be with him.

"He's my best friend," she said. "It's such a fun time in my life right now; it's nice to have someone to share all that with."
