Phoebe Tonkin Says Paul Wesley Is Her 'Best Friend'

Paul Wesley from The Vampire Diaries and Phoebe Tonkin from The Originals were spotted at an LA Lakers game sharing some romantic chemistry. As the happy couple sat in the stadium, they were captured with their lips nearly touching in photos posted on Daily Mail on Monday.

Tonkin can be seen touching her boyfriend's arm as her eyes are partially closed and he has a little grin on his face. The two then get even more romantic when Wesley pulls out his phone as he takes a selfie of himself with his girlfriend who wraps her arms around him.

The pair then pose for another selfie as Wesley uses an angle that shows the game that's happening in front of them. The site added some other images of the two watching basketball and looking happier than ever.

In an interview with Elle, Tonkin made it clear that she and her hunky beau are doing splendidly at this point in their lives.

"He's my best friend," the actress said. "It's such a fun time in my life right now; it's nice to have someone to share all that with."

Tonkin also dished on what it's like to work on a television show in Los Angeles.

"TV is a lot like having an office job: same crew, same people every day- it's like a family," she said. "I didn't move here to be on a job for three months and then sit around reading scripts and drinking coffee in LA the rest of the time. The quality of TV is so great now, and you get to do what you love every day."
