'Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2' Spoilers: New Promotional Poster Showing Katniss With An Old Character Unveiled [VIDEO]

A new promotional poster for the Hunger Games franchise was unveiled for the occasion of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, and it brings back some haunting memories.

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 To Delve More Into Katniss And Gale's Relationship?

Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) is uniformed in her Hunger Games outfit, in all black leather, in the poster. But she stands behind her seated sister Primrose Everdeen (Willow Shields) dressed in civilian clothes. The poster has an arcane feel to it, like a crumpled-up portrait photograph straightened out. The poster has been appropriately titled 'A Sister Portrait,' and the commemorative print can be bought on the 2015 Cannes Festival page. The photograph has been taken by Tim Palen. As very little promotional artwork or teasers for the film have been coming out, this will be much cherished by fans.

The movie has only treated fans with a moving poster teaser thus far, and they eagerly await the first trailer for the movie. Director Francis Lawrence has been doing many interviews lately and he recently addressed the question of the trailer release.

Hunger Games Team Reuniting For New Film Adaptation?

The press caught up with Francis at the recently held CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Although there had been rumors that the trailer would be unveiled soon, Francis nipped them in the bud saying that that was not the case and it was going to be a bit of a wait for fans.

He specifically revealed this important bit of information to Collider. A new IBT Times report states that although the movie will represented at Comic Con in July, the trailer will not be unveiled at the event. Francis clarified that in another interview.

The movie will hit theaters on Nov. 20.
