She is a star in an upcoming film and has a Comedy Central show, but that's not enough to keep Schumer busy. Now, she is continuing to build onto her career by starring and writing a new comedy movie.

The power woman will co-write and star in an untitled comedy about mother-daughter relationships, according to MSN.

Reportedly, Paul Feig is on board to produce the movie alongside Jessie Henderson from Feigco Entertainment and Chernin Entertainment.

Schumer will share the writing responsibility with her sister, Kim Caramele.

According to IMDb, the star's upcoming film, Trainwreck, will follow a commitment-phobic career woman who was taught that monogamy was never possible.

As she is assigned a story about a male doctor for the men's magazine she works for, she will have to face her fears as she begins to fall in love with her interviewee.

Trainwreck is set to release on July 17th. For the film, Schumer is repped by UTA and Mosaic. 

Schumer's show on Comedy Central, Inside Amy Schumer, features her delivering scripted vignettes, stand-up clips, and on-the-street interviews. 

Schumer's "big break" came in 2007 when she finished fourth on a talent show entitled Last Comic Standing.
