They're keeping the biggest secret from everyone in Port Charles, but Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) could accidentally reveal she knows the truth about Jake (Billy Miller) as she continues plotting with Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) on General Hospital.

Jake Makes A Shocking Decision About His Future

The pair are the only ones who know that Jake's real identity is Jason Morgan, but have been keeping the news to themselves for different reasons--Nikolas has his eye on taking over ELQ (which he can't do if Jason is exposed as being alive), and Elizabeth is trying to have the relationship she always wanted but never got to have with him in the past. Their plans were nearly ruined when Jake's fake 'wife' Hayden revealed she also knew the truth and went to go tell him--only for Nikolas' secret hitman to shoot her in the head and put her in a coma.

Now, both Nikolas and Elizabeth could have some hard questions to answer as their potential reasons for acting the way they are start becoming suspicious to those around them.

Patrick & Sam's Relationship Begins To Crumble

Nikolas will start being questioned by Lulu (Emmee Rylan) after he appears less than upset about Hayden's shooting--despite the fact that he had been sleeping with her and was in an alleged 'relationship' with her as well.

"You must be freaking out," she says to her brother in a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 27 episode.

Meanwhile, Liz will talk to Nikolas on the phone about the situation, and could risk Jake himself overhearing as she speaks.

"She'll never be able to tell Jake who he really is," she says in the clip as Jake walks up behind her.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
