In the May 2015 issue of NKD, Tahj Mowry, who plays Tucker on the sitcom, revealed that he would love it if Kristin Chenoweth guest starred as his mother. Chenoweth is known for her soprano singing voice and for her on-stage talent, including playing Glinda in the smash hit musical Wicked.

When asked what was next for Tucker on the ABC Family comedy, Mowry said (via Just Jared) "We were bouncing around ideas, I think it would be so cool to have Kristin Chenoweth play my mom because obviously I'm mixed- my mom's black and my dad's white- so we could totally do that, and she's freaking awesome."

Chenoweth has yet to comment on this, but perhaps she might express interest.

Mowry also opened up on how challenging it can to be to work on a sitcom.

"It's hard work because you have to remember more things than you would for a film because a film takes more time, so you can do smaller sections of the movie or of the show whereas sitcoms you're doing full scenes, but that's why it's fun and it keeps you on your toes," the actor said. "I like to try different things every day, like to add and change things without telling the writers sometimes."

As it turns out, the writers are okay with this because it can help spice things up.

"The writers allow us tp be free, and the audience loves it because, you know, they're sitting there for a while and take after take it can get boring," Mowry explained. "So you want to change it up a little bit."

Baby Daddy returns on Wednesday, June 3 at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
