Nintendo's weekly update to the eShop and Virtual Console has arrived, releasing new titles to Wii U and 3DS owners.

New Update For Indie Survival Title The Forest Released, Now Boasts Destructible Buildings

The big Wii U eShop title available this week is Adventures of Pip. The title is a retro throwback, offering side-scrolling 2D platforming action. Tiny hero Pip can grow in size while you play by absorbing pixels from fallen enemies, but you'll learn that bigger is not always better. You can view a trailer for Adventures of Pip below.

As for the 3DS eShop, Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven is the highlight this week. Bowl over as many enemies as possible with a single strike in this new strategy RPG - from the producer of Story of Seasons and Rune Factory. The unique "bowling" battle mechanic requires lining up melee, as well as ranged and magical attacks so frontline enemies are knocked into others for maximum collateral damage.

It's not all new titles though, with Wii U's Virtual Console getting Pac-Attack this week. Pac-man abandons his usual maze in this quirky Super NES puzzle game. Keep your screen clear of falling blocks and ghosts by lining them up horizontally. Pac-Attack includes three game modes to choose from: 1P Normal, 2P Versus and the challenging 1P Puzzle.

Nintendo is also releasing a free content update for its new shooter, Splatoon. It's the first of many free releases and adds a new weapon and map--the nostalgia-packed N-Zap '85 rapid-fire shooter and the Port Mackerel map--both available now. There are also some discounts on Wii U and 3DS titles, so head over to see if anything piques your interest.
