Not only is Jamie Dornan one of the best looking men on the planet right now, but he's also got a heart made out of pure goal. The Irish hunk is helping out a Bangor resident build his long-lost mother a home in Nepal by donating a signed picture of himself to a charity concert this August.

According to the Belfast Telegraph on Tuesday, the 50 Shades of Grey star is among many who are helping a man named John after hearing his story. Apparently, he recently traveled to Nepal to search for his long-lost mother, after he hadn't seen her for over 30 years.

John told the site, "I had no idea that people would take the story to their hearts the way that they have and that the money would be raised so quickly. I am organizing a fundraising concert in the King's Head for August 2 and there will be a charity raffle at it and I thought that would be the main fundraiser."

He added, "I'm overwhelmed and so grateful to everyone who has supported me and mum. Getting a signed picture of Jamie Dornan for the raffle has been a great boost."

Meanwhile, according to RTE News on Tuesday, the Irish hunk says that he and his wife Amelia Warner and their daughter Dulcie are trying to keep their private life private by not revealing too much about their personal details on social media, like Twitter and Instagram.

He said, "The fame doesn't feel that palpable until you're online, so I'm actively trying to avoid social media at the moment because it suddenly just feels real - that there are all these people who are interested in what you're doing."

Dornan added, "We just go about our day, we're not chased down the street or anything. People whisper here and there, but it's not out of control at the moment I'm pleased to say. But I'm far less aware of it than if I was actively on Twitter - I step back from all that because it's unhealthy."
