Things were definitely hot on the set of Magic Mike: XXL, but the male actors who took it all off for the sequel film are admitting that needing to keep their bodies in a certain condition took a toll on them during filming.

The guys--Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash and Adam Rodriguez--talked to Jimmy Kimmel about the movie when appearing on his show June 14--and admitted that the dietary depravations they faced to keep their physiques in check for the film occasionally made things difficult for all of them.

"You would always know who was about to carb out, because we hadn't had a carb in...they'd just start to get pissy, start moaning a lot," Tatum told the host, comparing the situation to one used in Snickers candy bar commercials.

However, though having to keep to strict diets, as well as having a lack of wine (as Nash pointed out in the interview), the guys all admitted that they were looking forward to working together again when they got to the movie's set--especially since moments that could have been awkward (like seeing each other with significantly less clothing) were less of an issue after the first film.

"Definitely easier," Rodriguez replied when Kimmel asked if making the second movie was as difficult as the first. "We got that out of the way early on in the first one. I think this time we were actually looking forward to seeing each other naked."

Magic Mike: XXL opens July 1.
