It seems like Bay is going to have a lot of trouble recovering from her relationship on Switched at Birth.

'Switched At Birth' Creator Reveals When New Episodes Are Coming

On Wednesday, series creator Lizzy Weiss took to Twitter to release a piece of the script that shows how Bay is going to feel following the after-math of the drama that took place in previous episodes; this may include her breakup with Emmett or her campus assault. When Kathryn dives in to be there for her daughter, Bay can't help but feel the horrid tension of a broken heart.

Chatter On Bay & Emmett's Relationship After Controversial Storyline

As Bay continues her "torture," odds are likely it's going to take a while for her to recover. And based on what Lea Thompson revealed about upcoming episodes, it sounds like things will be hard on everyone.

"With Bay dealing with the fallout from her breakup, Kathryn always tries to keep a stiff upper lip and keep everyone moving forward with a lighter touch," Thompson said, posted on E! News. "She's going to move forward with her musical, but she's also going to get hit with a lot new drama."

And not only that, but Bay's parents are going to have money issues to worry about, causing more stress.

"There's going to be financial problems with John and Kathryn and that's going to be really challenging," the actress said. "They're so used to being able to fix everything and being the mama and papa bear, but they can't this time and that's going to be really hard on them."

Switched at Birth returns on Monday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
