Oscar winner Sean Penn was spotted in public for the first time since his split from Charlize Theron.

Reporter Asks Charlize Theron If She & Sean Penn Are Getting Married

On Monday, E! News posted a photo of Penn on Father's Day as he went for a walk in Los Angeles with his 24-year-old daughter Dylan. The two had a casual day out as the actor wore a black jacket and pants as his daughter dressed in jeans and a blue sweatshirt.

Sean Penn & Charlize Theron Call It Quits

It was announced from Us Weekly earlier this week that Penn and Theron had called it quits in their relationship after about a year-and-a-half of dating. There wasn't an official reason on why they broke up, but the site mentioned that Theron was the one who initiated it.

There have been rumors back and forth saying that the two might get married someday even though the Mad Max actress made it clear that marriage wasn't really her thing. In an interview with Vogue, she mentioned that she's not against the idea, but it just doesn't seem like a necessity.

"I never had the dream of a white dress," Theron told the magazine. "And watching other people get married? I think it's beautiful for them, but to be quite honest, usually I'm just sitting there devastated. It's supposed to be this night of celebrating love, and all you see is a couple separated all night making sure everybody else is okay. It just looks like a lot of work."
