He managed to successfully stage a takeover of ELQ and steal it completely away from the Quartermaine family, but those actions have quickly turned Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) in one of the most hated men in Port Charles on General Hospital.

Nikolas Causes Problems Between Elizabeth and Jake

His actions have made him persona non grata with all of the Quartermaines, and with those who identify with the family by extension--including his own cousin, Sam (Kelly Monaco), who is devastated that he would betray Michael's (Chad Duell) trust and hers as well. Now, with the hopes of making things up to the Quartermaines, she will team up with Jake (Billy Miller) in a new plot to snake the shares Nikolas holds back out from under him--and giving Michael back the control he once had.

"There might be a way that we can get Michael's company back," Jake tells Sam in a preview clip for the Thursday, July 2 episode.

Nikolas' Victory Brings Trouble To The Quartermaines

The two will realize that they need to figure out what secret Nikolas is holding on to, which will thoroughly succeed at unseating him--unaware that the knowledge he has is about Jake's own real identity--as Sam's 'deceased' husband, Jason.

However, as Nikolas continues to run the company he gained through illegal means and extortion of various members of the family, he will also find himself facing off against yet another critic--this one a lot more unexpected than his others--his 10-year-old son, Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel).

"Why'd you do this?" Spencer asks him in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
