The truth was officially revealed about his plot to take over ELQ, and despite the Quartermaine family's best efforts to keep him from succeeding, Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) is officially one step closer to his ultimate goal on General Hospital.

The Truth About Rosalie's Boss Comes Out

Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Michael (Chad Duell) were sure that a clause in Edward's will, which allowed the members of the board to vote Nikolas' power useless would work in their favor--until Lucy (Lynn Herring) shocked them all by voting in Nikolas' favor. Now, she will be forced to explain herself and why she sided with the enemy.

"Why did you vote against us last night?" Tracy demands to know in a preview clip for the Wednesday, June 24 episode.

Jake Suspects Sam In ELQ Scheme

Lucy may need to explain her reasoning for going against the family, who were assured of her loyalty to them--and they could be equally as shocked to learn why she chose to betray their trust now of all times.

Meanwhile, despite the truth about his intentions in trying to buy 0.5& of Dillon's (Robert Palmer Watkins) shares in the company away from him being revealed, Nikolas will still seek out the younger Quartermaine and attempt to still try convincing him to side with him--something Dillon has no desire doing.

"I just need five minutes," he says to Dillon in the clip.

"Why?" Dillon hisses.

Now, Nikolas may try to make an offer Dillon truly can't refuse--especially since he has such a huge stake in the company and can make some big decisions.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
