CSI: Cyber's second season will handle the spillover from CSI: Las Vegas.

'NCIS: LA' Season 7 Spoilers: When Will The Cast Return To Set? Production Start Date Announced

The Nevada-based investigators will cease to have a series of their own this September, but DB Russell (Ted Danson) and his team will get a second chance at life thanks to Avery Ryan's (Patricia Arquette) FBI squad.

Russell will move to Cyber in a permanent capacity this fall, and Elisabeth Harnois (Brody) has hinted that several of the other Las Vegas actors may be booked for guest roles in the near future.

"You guys are going to have an amazing new show to watch with Ted Danson [in], so there's a little continuity that you get to have," Harnois said of CSI's cancelation and Danson's transition to Cyber, according to Digital Spy. "Who knows, maybe some of us will show up and do arcs on the new show as well."

It remains a mystery as to which characters could make this jump. Even though there is the possibility that the FBI will rack up some consulting fees with the Clark County investigators, Harnois made of point of assuring viewers that Cyber will not be overrun with the mother ship's unemployed cast. Arquette's series will continue to function as its own entity.

"They've had one great season with the amazing Patricia Arquette...[and] I think the teams, the two of them together, will be a beautiful yin and yang, and I hope that I get to come by and say hi as Morgan," Harnois teased at the Monte Carlo TV Festival last month.
