After the Twilight movies became smash hits in the entertainment industry, the producers are reflecting on those days with how proud they are.

T-Pain Opens Up On Robert Pattinson's Rumored Engagement

On Thursday, Gossip Cop posted the details from Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen after they had a chat with The Hollywood Reporter. They were asked if they still keep in touch with the stars of the vampire series, and it turns out they remain pretty close.

"We keep in touch with all of them in the way you keep in touch with actors who have busy lives and are half your age," Godfrey said. "Every half-year we catch up and try to find something else to work on together."

Kristen Stewart Reveals Something She 'Never Expected' About 'Twilight'

The producer also pointed out how some of the stars of the series took on movies that weren't necessarily big-budget films; Kristen Stewart took on roles in Still Alice and Clouds of Sils Maria while Robert Pattinson appeared in Maps to the Stars and The Rover. All of these films weren't blockbusters, something that Godfrey thought was good on their part.

"They've each been really smart about the way they've followed up their Twilight careers in that they've not jumped into big studio fare in general," he said. "They've chosen directors and movies based on the movie, not the size of the movie."

Godfrey then took a moment to say nice things about the success of Stewart and Pattinson.

"Kristen being the first American actress to win a Cesar was pretty f---ing cool," he said. "And Rob's just worked with a string of people you'd want to be on your filmography when you're done."
