The news has been making headlines in the past couple weeks saying that the Bollywood stars may have gotten engaged on the actress's birthday. And then on Saturday, Business of Cinema found out if the rumor was true.
While Kaif attended the trailer launch for the film Phantom where she revealed if she and Kapoor are getting hitched- and as it turns out, people are going to probably be disappointed.
Ranbir Kapoor's Ex Says He Will 'Always' Be Important To Her
"I am not engaged to Ranbir Kapoor," she said.
The public can now rest easy since an official engagement is not happening right now. However, that doesn't mean Kaif and Kapoor are not in love- according to the actor's sister Riddhima, her brother has always been great at showing love for his girlfriends.
"Ranbir never needed any advice on girlfriends," Riddhima said in a report from Bollywood Life. "He used to go into my room and take whatever I had in my little treasure box and give it to his girlfriend, and that used to irritate me so much. When the girls came home, I'd be like, 'Hmmm, now I know where my stuff went.' He was annoyingly naughty."
Another story from Bollywood Life claimed that Kapoor gave Kaif a fancy ring on her birthday last July 16th. This may be true, but perhaps it was not an engagement ring.
