As rumors continue to fly around on the personal lives of Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor, it appears that one of their exes might still have lingering feelings.

On Wednesday, FilmiBeat posted the details from actress Deepika Padukone who used to date Kapoor. She made it clear that no matter how much changes in their lives, the actor will never stop being special to her.

"Ranbir will always be a very important part of my life," she said.

"No matter how much we move on in our lives and no matter how comfortable we keep telling people we are working with each other, the question will keep coming up," the actress added.

There is a possibility that Kapoor might marry Kaif in the future, leaving insight on how Padukone would feel if that day ever came. There is a good chance that she would be supportive although the memories of her ex would still be there.

"But the point is, it was, is and always will be a very special equation that we share," Padukone said about Kapoor. "Something that one can't explain and describe in too many words."

In a previous report from BizAsia, the actress said that she has been asked what her relationship status is with Kapoor a numerous amount of times. And the answer is still the same as it was before.

"Ranbir will always be a very important part of my life!" she said. "We may not be in touch every single day, but he is somebody whose opinion really matters a lot to me."
